These fact sheets present findings from research on condom use and STIs among youth involved with the child welfare or juvenile justice system or youth experiencing homelessness. The studies cited were identified as part of a 2020 review of the literature on condom use, pregnancy, and STI prevention among Activate’s focal populations. We have designed these fact sheets for youth-supporting professionals who want to better understand what the research says about condom use and STIs among these populations.
